A: Contact us at tourism@gowyco.com or call (585) 786-0307 and we'll work to get your event listed in our events section of our website. Please be sure to include dates, times, experiences/activities, food options, photos, etc. with your request. 

Q: How do we define a tourism business?

A: Any business, event, attraction or experience that tourists would find useful. Examples include: hotels, restaurants, breweries, retail shops, campgrounds, golf courses, museums, libraries & more. If this sounds like you, contact us!

Q: As a tourism business, how much will this cost me? 

A: If you're a tourism business, event or experience - we are automatically working on your behalf. Many of our services are no cost to you. If you're interested in affordable digital advertising options or to purchase an advertisement in our annual visitor guide, let's talk. We're here to help you!

Q: How does Wyoming County Tourism work?

A: We are authorized by Wyoming County to help build our tourism economy. Through this, we partner with I LOVE NY, which gives us access to tools, resources and funding allowing us to promote our community to tourists from all over the world. 

Q: What is Explore Letchworth and Beyond's goal?

A: We are committed to bringing together businesses and municipal, and community stakeholders to support initiatives that enhance visitor experiences, strengthen local communities, and contribute to Wyoming County’s economic vitality.

Q: Do I have to buy something to get tourism's help?

A: Not at all. We want to know you - even if you don't spend a dime. By connecting with you we can share your story with our audience and beyond.

Q: How far in advance should you reach out to us to plan a visit, photo shoot, etc.?

A: We'll work with you no matter when you contact us. However, it is best to notify us as soon as you can when you have something in mind. Depending on what the visit entails, we may work with our partners, so coordinating schedules may need to happen.
