Completed in 2017, The Chalet was designed by East Hill Creamery owners Gary and Betty Burley as a community event space that would showcase the natural beauty of the lumber from their own land. The result is an impressive Alpine-inspired venue featuring Amish post-and-beam construction in red oak, hemlock and white pine, along with expansive colonial windows that fill the space with natural light.
A Venue for Every Season
The Chalet offers the best of both worlds — the comfort and protection of an indoor venue with the beauty and atmosphere of the surrounding countryside.
Its multi-level design is fully handicap accessible and gives guests room to mingle, spread out and explore. The rental includes access to all four rooms, allowing your group to enjoy the entire venue without having to share the space with another event.
Guests can also discover the property's cheese caves and balcony, adding an experience you simply won't find at a traditional event venue.

The Chalet is designed to be tailored to your event, making it a memorable setting for weddings, receptions, celebrations, private parties, showers, reunions, corporate gatherings and other special occasions.
Every event rental includes a dedicated event coordinator who helps plan and execute the event, along with use of the venue's tables, chairs, china, glassware, cutlery and linens. Two large rolling "butcher's block" countertops are also available for displays, gifts, food service or other event needs.

East Hill Creamery produces Alpine-style cheeses using raw milk from its own pasture-raised cows, creating a true farm-to-cheese experience. Visitors can also book creamery tours that include a behind-the-scenes look at the cheese-making process and a cheese tasting.
