The Teddy Bear Picnic is back at Letchworth State Park!
 
The Friends of Letchworth State Park, in collaboration with Endlessly Outdoors Company, are excited to announce the return of our beloved Teddy Bear Picnic on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
 
This free family event is perfect for preschool and elementary-aged children (and their favorite teddy bears!) to enjoy an afternoon of outdoor fun, storytelling, and nature exploration.
 
Highlights include:
  • Storytelling with Perry Ground
  • Creative fun with Mr. Scribbles
  • Face painting, crafts, and games
  • Meet the NYS Park Environmental Educators and learn all about the animals in the park
  • A short walk through the woods with story stops
  • A teddy bear picnic with popcorn!
  • Bring your blanket, your favorite teddy bear, and your sense of adventure for a magical afternoon in the park.
  • Location: Letchworth State Park (specific meeting spot will be shared closer to the date)
    Time: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
    Cost: Free for all families (donations gratefully accepted to support Friends of Letchworth programs)
