Join Buried Barrel Hard Cider in Castile, NY on Thursday, June 11, for one of the most iconic locomotives in the world, Big Boy 4014, as it rolls through their backyard!

Buried Barrel is opening up at 10:30am so you won't miss a second of it!

This is not just any train. Big Boy 4014 is the largest operating steam locomotive in the world, and this summer marks its historic journey to the East Coast as part of a special coast-to-coast tour celebrating America's 250th Birthday! Seeing it in motion is the kind of experience that sticks with you. The sound, the power, the sheer presence of it...it's something you feel as much as you see.

Buried Barrel will open the taproom at 10:30AM, giving you plenty of time to grab a drink, find your spot, and settle in. There will be a food truck onsite as well!

The train is scheduled to depart Silver Spring around 12PM, and it will pass by the cidery shortly after on its way toward the Genesee River Arch Bridge in Letchworth State Park.

Timing can vary slightly, so we recommend arriving early.

*NOTE* the train will NOT stop, it will be passing by.
